Emerald Cave Crossing

Ready to uncover hidden gems north of Emerald Cave? After exploring the glowing waters of Emerald and Echo Caves we'll venture into a lesser-known stretch of the Black Canyon Narrows. Paddle along the Colorado River through a landscape rich in history and geology, marvel at breathtaking canyon views, and spot desert wildlife like majestic bighorn sheep. Our adventure leads to a secluded beach where you can swim, sunbathe, or explore, all while enjoying complimentary snacks, juice, and bottled water. After recharging, we'll paddle back to Willow Beach, concluding an unforgettable day of excitement on the river.

DURATION: 4-5 hours. Our tours always leave time for spontaneity and adventure. You never know when Bald Eagles or Bighorn Sheep want to put on a display!

LENGTH: 6-mile round-trip flat-water paddle.

MORNING DEPARTURE TIME: 6:30 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. 

AFTERNOON DEPARTURE TIME: 12:30 p.m.,1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Catch the sunset on our 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. tours and paddle as the sun dips behind the mountains. A truly breathtaking experience—one you won't want to miss! 

DIFFICULTY: Easy to moderate, depending on wind conditions.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner to moderate, based on mileage.
